This one's for Fran, my valentine's swap partner - your thingamejib is finished (which you know, coz I told you) and here's a preview....hee hee hee, I love surprises!
I went to see High School Musical on Ice today with Grace, my friend and her daughter. It was good, the skaters were doing lots of spinning round and jumping (thought Troy - the star boy did fall over a few times) we had rinkside seats (which made it even better, but also meant you had to smile at them and interact a bit too much for my liking). Grace bought one of those awful light up plastic wand things for £12!!!! I was horrified, I could have whipped her up a lovely one with a wooden spoon, a bit of felt and some sequins (not the same, apparently) and then she spent ages moaning that I wouldn't buy her a £7 light up cup of red ice, to which I told her she was ungrateful and some poor children don't get to go to see High School Musical on Ice, or if they do have to sit right at the back in those seats where you can't see anything and have to climb a million stairs to get to your seat. She shut up then (after a bit of under breath muttering), and I realised I have turned into my mother....oh dear.

lol you too, I think it happens to us mum's at some point with our children hehe!
They do just push those buttons that drive us all mad. And we hear words of our mothers coming out of our own mouths. But it works and we know she was right. Even though we'd never tell her ;)
Still sounds like a very nice time.
Hugs.

Do I spy a little duck on the fabric ? or is my eyesight really up the shoot ?
LOL !Isn't it awful when you start channelling your mother...and a bit scary too.
I'm such a meany - I take eats and drinks with us when we go to the cinema/theatre/function. Your teasing pictures look fabulous - can't wait the see the full photos in time. x

Hurrah! for us turning into our mothers! Is that why our hubby's look so worried??
Great sneek peeks there, GM, I love the crochet flowers .... I'm crocheting at the mo too ... instead of knitting monkeys - shock horror!
The lovely for your swap partner looks cute too.
:)
i am all of a quiver, but you ain't the only one with secrets... x
I hate when I channel the elder spirits, they make me scream so and really I'm such a nice person. But what are you going to do when you child breaks his toy, writes on the sofa in ink, ignores the 4 times you have called their name, and decideds its a good idea to jump on his yogurt tube?
Oh you... you make me very curious! I'm looking forward to see what you've been up to!
^^ nice blog!! ^@^
