Anyway, the aforementioned Gina was my swap partner for the Lucy Locket mini quilt swap, and I was petrified. She is so talented. She did try and make me feel better with the old 'oh, I can't make a quilt to save my life' kind of talk (she is a mum to 3 boys, I'm sure she is well practised in those white lies Mums tell). I believed her when she told me she'd never made a quilt, but now I suspect it wasn't strictly true. Or she went shopping.....check it out.......
Yep, grinning cat. How cool?
I know, I know - close up he is even better
Then you flip him over and you've got this, a whole heap of crazy cats.
Too much. I am getting overwhelmed by swap goodness at the minute, I can't cope with it all!!
And don't you think cheeky cat and owl and pussycat (see previous post) will look super brilliant together? I do too.

Oh dear...I'm sitting at my computer grinning back at that grinning cat...you just can't help it, it's so "grinny". Love the jazztastic colours. Hooray for Lucy's quilt swap!
So pleased you like him Katy... and yes it is my real name! The Italian is a long way back (great grandfather) but I got the name.

hehehe Yay! He's great. Reminds me of Wallace and Gromit or Creature Comforts with their HUGE cheesy grins.
Gina is indeed a very talented blogger - I've yet to see something of hers that doesn't make me wish I could do 'that' ... and your quilt is no exception. It's gorgeous isn't it? Mind you, the ones you've made are rather wonderful too.
My mini quilt's not finished yet *blush* ... almost, but not quite. x
Oh he's fab! It's the patchwork flooring that really does it for me!!! Gina is so brill!
Thank you for being in my swap!

That's the coolest smiling cat I've ever seen.
I think all cats should smile like that.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs.

Gorgeous quilt - I love the grin on the cat's face. I only wish I had a name as cool as Gina Ferrari.
