a lovely weekend

I don't know about the weather everywhere else, but this weekend down in Ipswich (where my mum and dad live) was GLORIOUS. I had it all planned to go to beWILDerwood near Norwich, but the old folks had other ideas. It was a bit far, apparently, and the kids would get tired (that's the idea). So we ended up going to the park instead, and out for some lunch. Not quite beWILDerwood, but it was a lot of fun.

What on earth is the colouring they put in blue lollies? It is not natural, that's for sure. Usually poor Ginge isn't allowed such things, but it was almost a holiday, Is it just me or do they look suspiciously like those blue toilet cleaner tablets?

It was so sunny here wasn't it? We ended up down on Felixstowe sea front for the annual Art on the Prom exhibition. Worth a visit if you're here this time next year!

Too funny! Blue candy definitely isn't natural! It's certainly suspicious! Really green is a natural color but most green candy tastes like cleaner so I avoid that too! It looks like you had fun this weekend.

I used to love blue lollipops as a kid..though I could never figure out why it wasn't bluberry flavoured when it was blue...

Those blue lips are great! Apart from Saturday it's been dreary down here in Southampton, but my parents were very pleased to tell me that it was lovely and sunny when they arrived in Woodbridge!

Those blue lollies are a nightmare. Minx had one on the holiday (out with friends = peer pressure!) - within 30 seconds she'd gone nuts and didn't calm down for over an hour.
Never again!!

Great photo of Ginge though :)

Blue sweets and blue lollies are off the menu at our house - my small people process them to bright green at the (ahem) other end. Frightened the life out of me; I nearly rushed to A&E and you can imagine how embarassing that would have been!
