Trouble is, I can't choose which set to send.
Do I go for the pretty birds?...
the Katie Jump Rope I have been hoarding?...
or some ever classic 1930's repros?...
I'm thinking of asking everyone to use half square triangles in their blocks, so they can make whatever they like, but I want half square triangles used somewhere/somehow. Like a pinwheel, or flying geese, hourglass or a star.
What would you send? Or rather, I suppose, which set would you prefer to use?
Update on the FQ swap - the last few partners will be sent out later on today/tonight...maybe at a push tomorrow morning depending on how I get on. Then I'll do a quick post on the details to recap for everyone. I am just sorting out my partner's package now. Exciting!!!

oh hard choice! Love all of them. I could not part with the Katie Jump rope so I would have to say the birds.
I would say the biry ones... or possibly the reproduction ones.. they are both my favourites!
The Katie Jump Rope fabrics produced the biggest drool from me - they are gorgeous. The thing is, I like the other two lots as well. I'm not very helpful, am I? I think whatever you send will make a wonderful 'base' - I guess the 30s prints will make the most colourful end result?

It seems like the Katie Jump Rope will be the one. I like it too and I think this one is better for the triangle blocks you want. It has more contrast than the other two choices.
Oh golly, I love them all. I've just ordered some of that birdie stuff and it is quite Spring-like... Where did you get all those '30s prints form, if you don't mind me asking? I bought a few at the Quilt Festival but I was far too restrained, I now realise!

My vote is for Katie Jump Rope! It's always so much fun to work with those. Plus, if you want people to add fabrics from their stash, it's pretty easy to pull things that look good with it. My second choice is the birds because ... well, who doesn't love birds??! : ) Any of them would be great.
Quite unexpectedly, I like the 30s fabric for the pretty range of colors you have. I don't ordinarily lean in that direction when there are cute birdies involved...but...
BIRDS of course - isn't it obvious? (I want some of those fabrics)

That is a tough choice, but since i'm collecting 30's for some projects, I'd go with those. But the birds are soooo cute too...that's a great set. It's a toss-up
I would say the birds - probably because I was corrupted by you to go and buy some of my own but don't know what to do with them! The 30s ones would be great too but I think they are easier to think of things to do with yourself maybe?

All 3 are very pretty. That's a tough decision.. but if I had to choose one to keep... IT would be the Birds :)
I would send the Katie Jump Rope... I absolutely adore the birds, but I would want to fuzzy cut some of those prints, and if anyone else feels the same, you would have to send a lot of fabric :/
i agree with tine...fussy cutting is definitely needed with those birds...i think i would do the 30's fabrics....the small prints would lend themselves to half square triangles....then you can keep your katie jump rope to look at and pet...you do pet your fabric, right?

Definitely the 30's reproductions - they're my very favourite, and they seem to work well as half square triangles.

I love the birds. But I only want you to choose them so I can see them up close. A lot of the fabric that you have isn't availabe here :-(
Birds for me! I think they're all cute though, so I'm not really that much help!!
I love the Katie Jump Rope, but I would send out the 1930's. I think the colours might be better for others to work in and give you a nice surprise!

Help, 1 love the bee you are in and was thinking of starting one, could you maybe help me understand the rules? How mush fabric do you send, is it all fat quarters, does the hostess pay for the shipping for you, did you pick a pattern with 12 blocks, will you get two of the same? Any advice would be great!
