return of the giant animals

Backed in cozy pink flannel dots....

Folded and ready to give to my baby niece to be.... (I am so in love with the binding - that prairie gothic check is to die for)

And hanging in all it's super bright, cheery glory on the door of my closet....

Another job done.
I have a set of baby boy fabrics, to make another one. There's a Christening in September, plus another friend is having a baby boy - so I think the giant animals pattern might make a return visit in the not so distant future.

it does look gorgeous all finished and ready to give. All those babies are going to keep you busy crafting - I don't know how you find time to do it all!

It's so sweet! Did you do the actual quilting yourself? The checked fabric rocks btw!

It's gorgeous! I'm just completing my first baby quilt but I've cheated by using a Moda charm pack. Is it a real quilt if I haven't done all the hard work of cutting? I'm not even binding it, oh my I'll never be a real quilter like you Katy.
