yes - my quilt is still in pieces. Although I am thundering through the final few blocks now and have every intention to get the top finished by Christmas and then quilt it early in the New Year.
Some people are very efficient and have finished their tops.
People like Jane.....

lovely quilts! best wishes finding some time to finish. it's going to be a great quilt!
Gorgeous quilts! I love this pattern.
I love this scrappyquilt. Would love to make it someday. Good luck finishing yours.
Best wishes in getting it done. It's amazing!
I still like the name ''scrap vomit'' for this, hehe :) I think they are *awesome* though and I'll make one someday - but I have too many UFO's to start another one right now :)
Wow! You are all doing so well! I have got a small mountain of squares that have been chain-pieced in pairs, but I've only managed to complete one block. Once the Christmas madness is over I can't wait to get going on this :)
I have my Scrap Vomit top done. It's on my 2011 UFO's to finish list. I loved that quilt from the moment I saw it. Of course it helped that I have many, many 2 1/2" squares.
am I the only one mad enough to be free-motion quilting this?
All over meandering sort-of free motion? On my little non-long-arm-machine? Struggle, struggle?
Oh yes, utter (newbie quilter) madness lol!
Am just loving the look of this quilt and the variations in colour by different quilters. As if my 'want-to-make-one-of-those' list is not long enough, this will be added!
Mine is not finished, however it IS under control, all the squares are cut and some joined and three blocks finished just to see how it looks. It has been a fantastic project for usin up scraps, while I was cutting I cut all of my awful fabrics into 2 1/2" strips for future use, so really feel I have achieved a lot. Hope to complete it early next year after hols.
I am DEFINITELY going to start this in the new year! I've bought my 2.5" ruler and everything. Very inspired by the pics, thanks for keeping us updated.
What beautiful quilts!
