when I die...

kitty toes

I'd like to think I could be reincarnated as a quilter's cat.

Hah! So cute... and not a bad kitty existence, either.

Even to be a cat you have to be lucky and it doesn't get much luckier than being a quilter's cat... Mine should know! :)

I used to love massaging my cats toe pads!!

A warm cats fur is the best smell!!

I just want to tickle between those paw pads and see what my mum used to call 'fan toes'!

So cute! My two kitties have passed away, and although I used to grouch at them for shredding my neatly cut and stacked quilt pieces, they would sleep on a section of the quilt I was binding and keep me company while I hand stiched. Hard to imagine a creature on Earth with a better existance than a quilter's cat :)

You need to stop making awesome quilts. Your cats are turning into zombies!! They can't get through your house without getting sleepy. I am going to have to fly over there and do an intervention (maybe a catnapping). My cat may object to new family members :)

or a bunny in our wild and overgrown garden... LOVE that pic!

That has often been one of my thoughts. Especially on busy days. In my next life, I want to be a pampered house cat...I think I will now add the phrase "of a quilter" to that thought!! Ahh...that must be the highest level one can achieve!! Sleep, eat, nap...

I'd be happy to be any kind of cat honestly - mine sleep anywhere they like. At the moment, one is sitting behind me on the back of the sofa, and the other is butted up against me and a cushion. Life of Riley indeed.

Yours is modelling the 'you can't move me, I look too cute' pose. Clever, very clever.

So funny. How is it that quilting and cats go hand in hand?? Mine are endlessly entertained with watching me toil and can't wait to be the first ones to give em a test ride (sometimes while still in progress).

My staff has been asleep on the job and just informed me of this photo.
I plan on coming back as same.
