Locked and loaded is a great everyday bag that's roomy and big enough for everything. Plus it's structured so it won't go all floppy and hide your essentials.
Back over the pond to the UK and Jessie has a gorgeous quilt on her blog that she made using some of the fabrics from her shop as well bits and bobs in her stash. Read more about the quilt on the blog.
I really love the red, pink and white palette she chose.
Annie at the village haberdashery has some new arrivals
A couple of Amy Butler's Alchemy Studio prints have arrived, that are specifically designed with dressmaking in mind.
A cotton sateen
and a voile
Posy by Aneela Hoey has also arrived, just a few selected prints but each as gorgeous as the next. I think this is the best collection of Aneela's so far, the designs have more depth and layers to them. This print, for example, looks like it could be a Japanese double gauze.
I'm definitely going to get both of these pretty florals, I think they'll work beautifully with so many other fabrics. I'd love to do a traditional grandmother's flower garden in delicate girly prints like these, just keep plugging away on it over a year or 2.
A busy week for new arrivals at M is For Make.
The wonderful Shuffle collection of textured blenders by Riley Blake has arrived. 8 different shades, and all are amazing. I'm loving this one best. Black. I love black.
also a couple of colours of random pencil check from Michael Miller.
Justine came round to mine the other day and we were chatting about new things that she can do for Simply Solids. We also made some kona solids scrap packs that will be listed shortly (it's her first job of the day so expect to see them at some point this morning). She's planning a special offer for every week as well. So get signed up to the newsletter to keep on top of the news, you can find the subscribe button on the left hand side of the page, towards the bottom. Follow them on FaceBook and Twitter and never miss a trick! And here's a weekend treat for you - 10% off all sketch fabrics - including the flannels using the code march10. That is a little treat.
